These pressure gauges can work in two different ways. They are;

One of the most common types of the pressure gauge is the bourdon tube. These are used to measure high pressures and are basically a tube coiled into a shape of helix or spiral, sometimes into a “c” shape as well so that when the pressure increases the tube will be straightened out.
Another gauge which is used to measure more subtle pressure changes is a diaphragm. To separate regions under different pressure, it uses a deflection of a flexible membrane. One can determine the desired pressure as this amount of deflection is repeatable for certain, known pressures so calibration can be used. Between its two faces, the deformation of a diaphragm depends on the variation in pressure. To measure absolute pressure the reference face can be opened to the atmosphere to measure pressure, or alternatively can be sealed against a vacuum.
Pressurized systems are used, to coordinate any number of control systems that can be of almost any size or shape, by the industrial factories. When a problem develops with the gauge, certain pressure gauges are linkable to remote indicator panels which are capable of alerting people. When there is a problem with the tire pressure, modern day vehicles have pressure gauges placed inside the tires which alert the driver when the problem occurs. So now one doesn’t have to check the tire pressure by hand. If a pressure doesn’t fall within an acceptable range, some gauges are designed to automatically shut a system off.
